ABC Safest in the Industry Gold Award

Associated Builders & Contractors Safe Day Awards showcase companies in the construction industry that have outstanding corporate safety and health plans and exhibit superior safety initiatives.

Bhate Geosciences (BHATE) was proud to be named “Safest in the Industry”, receive the Gold Award and achieve Gold Level in the STEP Safety Management System from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama.

STEP measures the company’s safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents.

Protecting our workforce and client and preventing property damage is a core priority of our philosophy. Because of this, a “safety first” policy has been integrated into all areas of field operations and is put into practice by all BHATE personnel daily.  We attribute a large portion of our overall success as a company to the significance we place on safety.  Our internal Safety Manual is revised annually and discussed with every new team member upon hire and overseen by our Construction Materials Testing Engineering Manager, our Safety Manager.
